Job summary

A leading securities firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Equity Sales professional to promote research, IPOs, and prime brokerage services to institutional investors. With an emphasis on developing and expanding the client base, this role requires extensive relationships with major institutions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance, a strong track record in investments, and at least 8 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in English, Chinese, and preferably Putonghua is essential.

Job description

Promote Haitong Intl’s research, IPOs, corporate access and prime brokerage service to institutional investors and further develop and expand institutional clientbase.

Responsibilities

• As the senior equity sales, the candidate must have extensive relationship with institutional equity investors based in Singapore.
• Promote Haitong Intl’s research, IPOs, corporate access and prime brokerage service to institutional investors, monetize those service and increase Haitong Intl’s market share.
• Develop and expand institutional clientbase.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Extensive relationship with institutional investors in Singapore, especially GIC, Temasek and Fullerton.
• Good track record and recognition from institutional investors.
• With sound investment and financial market knowledge of local and overseas markets.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and preferably Putonghua.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Candidate with more experience can be considered for the role of Director.
