Brief Job Description
- Lead in network-related hardware/software/firmware incident management.
- Maintain all relevant network records and update documentation timely.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with the customer to ensure processes are current and aligned.
- Perform daily system checks and monitoring; highlight any abnormalities.
- Ensure network equipment backups are operational.
- Familiar with CISCO switches, load balancers, and routers.
- Gather business and application requirements to plan, design, install, test, and implement systems according to specifications and service levels.
- Align or enhance ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations, including change, incident, problem, release management, and CMDB.
- Monitor and measure system performance and availability proactively; implement corrective actions to improve performance and service levels.
- Respond promptly to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and provide resolutions; communicate status updates effectively.
- Implement service continuity measures, including backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
- Assist in preparing proposals and solution presentations.
- Lead a team of network engineers.
- Evaluate internal and external business environments to develop long-term strategies.
- Attain key certifications to maintain vendor partnerships.
