Job summary

A leading petrochemical company in Singapore is seeking an Entry Level Engineering professional for maintenance tasks involving instrumentation equipment. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or NITEC in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in an oil refinery or petrochemical plant. The position offers a monthly salary between SGD 2,000 to SGD 3,500 and requires onsite presence.

Qualifications

About Us

Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

Job Description
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of instrumentation equipment, as well as assist in troubleshooting/failure analysis to identify/highlight any rectification work required
  • Perform repairs and modification works including operating and maintaining all instrumentation and equipment as assigned under routine/preventive maintenance programme
  • Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Provide support and services in addressing any plant/equipment maintenance issues that may arise after office hours in order to minimise disruption/downtime to plant/equipment operation.
  • Ensure that all HSE and Safe Work Procedure (SWP) are followed
Qualifications
  • Diploma or NITEC in a relevant Engineering discipline
Other Information
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience in an oil refinery/ petrochemical plant, preferably with EMA license
  • Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
