Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain hydraulic systems and components used in machinery, marine equipment, and industrial applications.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnostics, and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and control systems.
  • Perform installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning of hydraulic systems onboard vessels, offshore platforms, or industrial sites.
  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.
  • Carry out pressure testing, flow checks, and performance analysis to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams during repair, modification, and upgrade works.
  • Evaluate damaged hydraulic components and recommend repair procedures or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, marine regulations, and industry best practices during all hydraulic operations.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, job scope descriptions, cost estimates, and material lists.
  • Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and documentation for completed works.
  • Support procurement by identifying suitable hydraulic parts, seals, hoses, fittings, and consumables.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring hydraulic failures and propose preventive actions.
