Salling Search is recruiting for one of the leaders in the shipping industry that needs a talented HR Generalist to help shape its dynamic workforce!

Responsibilities
HR Operations
  • Maintain HR policies that meet local regulations.
  • Support regional HR projects including Workday.
  • Handle daily HR queries, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Build employee relationships and support local HR/Admin.
  • Visit APAC offices when needed.
HR Business Partnering
  • Advise managers on HR matters and performance.
  • Provide insights from business trips to improve employee experience.
  • Employee Engagement
  • Run engagement activities and surveys.
  • Share feedback and drive improvements with management.
Employee Relations
  • Manage conflicts, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews.
Health and Wellness
  • Support insurance, flexible benefits, and wellness programs.
  • Assist in benefits reviews.
Data and Reporting
  • Track HR metrics and highlight trends.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work with HR teams across regions.
  • Partner with TA, L&D, C&B, and others.
  • Support onboarding in coordination with Recruitment.
Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment across APAC.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and manage hiring needs.
  • Maintain recruitment partner networks and ensure compliance.
Payroll
  • Support payroll accuracy and compliance across countries.
  • Coordinate with vendors, finance, and legal teams.
  • Arrange payments for consultants and EOR partners.
Legal and Compliance
  • Ensure HR policies, contracts, and handbooks comply with APAC laws.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, people skills, and confidentiality.
  • Organized, flexible, and comfortable in a multicultural environment.
  • Hands on working style with good MS Office skills.
  • At least 5 years HR experience; HR generalist preferred.
  • Knowledge of APAC employment laws; Workday experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are beneficial.
  • Willing to travel regularly.
