Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for an HR Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment, develop HR policies, and oversee office operations. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Human Resources, have at least one year of relevant experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for communication with stakeholders.

Job Description
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening, coordinating interviews, work-pass applications (if needed), reference checks, contract preparation, onboarding, and offboarding.

  • Develop and update HR policies and SOPs, ensuring compliance with employment laws and workplace safety standards.

  • Administer employee claims and maintain accurate personnel records (e.g., annual leave, medical leave, promotions, resignations).

  • Planning and Execution of employee engagement activities and events.

  • Oversee daily office operations, including procurement of office supplies, pantry management, and courier/logistics coordination.

  • Process incoming and outgoing transactions, maintaining accurate financial documentation to ensure transparency.

  • Manage vendor payments and staff claims ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

  • Perform daily financial reconciliations to support operational cash flow integrity.

  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Good knowledge of local employment laws and work-pass regulations.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and counterparts.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
