This Guest Room Ambassador (Room Attendant) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, guest corridor and service pantry to the standard set by the Hotel. To restock service areas and pantries with linen, amenities and other service requirements. He / she will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner.

Our Expectations
  • Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including making of beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and follow up on guest requests.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to health standards.
  • Collect daily allocation of rooms and keys. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift, and keys are signed out and kept securely.
  • Clean and maintain corridors, service areas, replace amenities in guest room if necessary and disposes off rubbish correctly.
  • Report promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department and to their respective Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
  • Report any odd occurrences, irregularities, carpet cleaning requirements, pest infestations, etc. to their respective Assistant Executive Housekeeper promptly to counter loss to the company.
  • Provide Turn Down Service when required.
  • Handle challenging situations with guests and resolve them diplomatically.
  • Any other reasonable requests as per Executive Housekeeper or his / her delegate.
