A dynamic group in design and technology is seeking a Group Finance Manager in Singapore. You will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and manage reporting across entities. While the Group operates across multiple verticals, this role will focus primarily on the finance operations of A Life By Design Living, with light oversight of BFN and TLF to ensure compliance and consolidation. We are strategically headquartered in Singapore, with operations and outreach in Dubai, Malaysia, Australia, and other global markets.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Group Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will be responsible for consolidating accounts across entities, ensuring statutory and tax compliance, and maintaining rigorous internal controls. Working closely with the finance and leadership team, you will safeguard the Group’s financial integrity, optimise processes, and ensure accurate reporting for decision-making. This is a hands-on management role, focused on accounting, reporting, and compliance — providing stability and structure as the Group scales.
1. Financial Control & Reporting: 60% of your time
Oversee /consolidate monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements across entities.
Accurate management accounts & timely reporting to Snr leadership.
Develop + maintain group-wide financial controls and accounting policies.
d. Corporate Finance, M&A & Strategic Initiatives: 2 > 5% of your time
Financial due diligence and integration support for mergers, acquisitions, or new ventures.
Evaluate investment opportunities, capital injections, and funding structures.
Support grant applications, subsidies, and government funding programs,
Partner with leadership on long-term financing strategy, investor reporting, a
i. Compliance & Taxation: 10% of your time
j. Compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements in Singapore and other jurisdictions.
k. Manage Singapore GST compliance with the wider finance team.
l. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: 10% of your time
Support preparation of budgets and forecasts, consolidating inputs across group companies.
Track performance against budgets, preparing variance analysis and commentary.
Provide insights on cash flow, working capital, and group liquidity.
Intercompany & Cross-Border Finance: 5% of your time
Manage inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and consolidations across entities.
Ensure accuracy of multi-currency reporting.
Partner with cross-border teams to align on compliance, payroll, and reporting standards.
Organisation Structure & HR Collaboration: 5% of your time
Work closely with cross-border HR teams to ensure alignment of finance with payroll, people compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
Provide guidance on finance-related aspects of workforce planning and restructuring.
Process Improvement & Systems: 5% of your time
Drive continuous improvements in reporting, controls, and workflows.
Oversee use of Xero and ensure best-practice adoption across entities.
Implement process automation where possible to improve accuracy and efficiency.
1. Strong proficiency in financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
2. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Singapore GST (mandatory).
3. Advanced Excel modelling, financial analysis, and consolidation skills.
4. Experience in corporate finance, M&A transactions and investment analysis.
5. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential
6. Knowledge of tax, audit, and compliance frameworks in Singapore.
7. Deal with international requirements. (We have in country accountants for these to assist)
8. Experience: inter-company transactions, consolidation, multi-currency reporting.
1. 6–10 years’ finance experience, min 3 years in a leadership or Manager role.
2. Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent mandatory).
3. Excellent team management and stakeholder engagement skills.
4. Strong problem-solving ability and process discipline.
5. High integrity and commitment to compliance.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity, cross-border environment.
