Job Description
  • Lead and oversee global accounting operations, including financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement scalable accounting policies, procedures, and controls across all entities.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audits across jurisdictions.
  • Drive automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to support strategic initiatives and transactions.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters including M&A, revenue recognition, and intercompany arrangements.
  • Monitor and manage accounting risks, ensuring robust internal controls and governance.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global accounting team.
  • Support board-level reporting and investor relations with accurate and timely financial data.
The Successful Applicant
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in global organizations.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS and multi-entity consolidation.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally within fintech or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading global teams and managing cross-border accounting operations.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including ERP implementation and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
