Role Overview

We are looking for a General Manager (Operations) who can partner closely with the founder to lead and refine day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build systems, lead a team, improve productivity, and eventually step up into a senior leadership position. You will supervise the daily work of multiple functions, streamline processes across the company, and ensure that our service delivery is smooth as we scale. We thrive as a business because of our drive and pace, and this role is suited for someone who is commercially minded, self-motivated and growth-minded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the team
  • Build, refine, and document operational processes to increase productivity and reduce errors
  • Ensure smooth coordination across customer care team, nanny operations, finance, and tech partner
  • Track and analyse key metrics such as utilisation, revenue, sitter payouts, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
  • Build systems for metrics to support performance management and decision making
  • Lead operational problem solving and troubleshoot issues quickly
  • Improve internal communication and team alignment
  • Support product and tech development by refining requirements, testing features, and validating workflows
  • Strengthen the customer experience through better processes, SOPs and follow-through
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience in operations, general management or a similar role
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Proven ability to manage daily workflows, supervise teams and keep operations structured
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret data
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Comfortable working in a growing startup environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience in service operations, marketplace operations, or agency-type workflows
