General Manager (AccessReal)
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our Anti-Counterfeit Solutions division. This role is the commercial and operational leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a visionary with a deep understanding of the brand protection landscape, a proven track record in P&L management, and the ability to translate complex client challenges into impactful solutions. You will be the face of the division, building a high-performance team with effective channel development to steer our strategic direction in a rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and execute the divisional business plan and strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential acquisition targets.
- Drive the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pipeline management to closing large, enterprise-level contracts.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Represent the company at major industry conferences and events.
- P&L Management & Financial Oversight
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the division, including revenue, margin, and operating expense targets.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior leadership.
- Implement cost-control measures while ensuring optimal investment in growth initiatives.
- Analyze financial data to make informed strategic and operational decisions.
- Product & Solution Strategy
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Development teams to define the product roadmap based on market needs and competitive analysis.
- Act as the "voice of the customer" to ensure our solutions effectively address client pain points.
- Oversee the go-to-market strategy for new products and features.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team including sales, marketing, solution engineers, and client success managers.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent to scale the division effectively.
- Operational Excellence & Client Success
- Oversee the flawless delivery and implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet client specifications and timelines.
- Champion a client-centric culture, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Market Intelligence & Advocacy
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and counterfeit threats.
- Position the company as a thought leader in the anti-counterfeit space through content, whitepapers, and public speaking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a P&L leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Business Unit Director).
- Proven experience in the anti-counterfeit, brand protection, supply chain security, or traceability industry.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
- Strong understanding of technologies used in anti-counterfeiting (e.g., serialization, track & trace, RFID, NFC, holography, digital platforms).
- Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Experience building, leading, and motivating high-performing teams.
- Preferred:
- Experience selling to regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Food & Beverage.
- International business experience and cultural awareness.
- Technical background or the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
