Job description

Support trading and merchandising activities for G&O products in South & Southeast Asia at Louis Dreyfus Company, a global leader in agricultural goods.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the trading team in trading and merchandising activities of G&O products (corn, wheat, SBM, soybeans, etc.) in coordination with global product lines and regional marketing, execution, and finance teams.
• Pricing, negotiation of trades, futures and FX hedging management, and optimization of executions and logistics.
• Collecting, inputting, reporting, and analyzing data/estimates as per product line requirements in coordination with regional teams.
• Preparing ad hoc business studies and information collection.
• Developing and strengthening commercial relationships with existing and potential LDC customers.
• Analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating market, customer, and activity information to relevant parties.
• Participating in desk activity data management including trading activity data feed in front office system, pricing, hedging, and position management.

About You

The company is looking for:

• 0-2 years of experience in agribusiness or related industries (commodities, feed, flour, shipping, etc.) in South & Southeast Asia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
• Self-starter with independent work capability and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work under high pressure and flexibility in working hours.
• Entrepreneurial and humble mindset.
• Preferred prior experience in trading, shipping, or food/feed industries dealing with the region (Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, etc.) or other entrepreneurial experience.
• Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Agriculture, or Trade.
