Job summary

A food production company in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Food Quality Assurance Officer to join their Central Kitchen team. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet safety, quality, and consistency standards, playing a critical role in maintaining HACCP and ISO certifications. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, enforcing hygiene practices, and monitoring production processes. The ideal applicant has 1-3 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment and holds HACCP certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC within an F&B central kitchen or food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Monitor and enforce GHP and GMP across the production floor.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation for HACCP, ISO, or SFA/local health department audits.
  • Oversee cold chain integrity and ensure sanitation protocols.
  • Coordinate microbial testing with external labs and perform internal shelf-life testing.
  • Identify deviations in the production process and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct basic food safety and hygiene briefings for staff.
