Responsibilities

• Support teachers in preparing food order lists and managing lesson requirements.
• Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of delivered groceries and supplies.
• Prepare and pre-portion ingredients, food trays, equipment, and materials ahead of practical lessons.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of food laboratories, utility rooms, utensils, and equipment before and after sessions.
• Ensure proper waste disposal, laundering of tea towels and tablecloths, and conduct end-of-session safety checks, including switching off electrical appliances.

Requirements

• Possesses a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate with experience working in school laboratory or food sector environment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the food laboratory.
