As a Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assess financial trends, minimize risks, and support business growth through strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.You will be tasked with preparing and sharing reports on working capital exposure, financial performance, and key business metrics. By maintaining financial dashboards for senior management, you will enable informed decision-making processes. Additionally, you will drive bank and financier relations, negotiate favorable terms, and lead capital raising efforts to meet business objectives and funding needs.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate records will be essential parts of your role. You will implement strong internal controls to safeguard financial accuracy and mitigate risks effectively. Your analytical insights and problem-solving support will assist senior management in aligning financial strategies with business goals and driving operational improvements.Collaboration with various departments to align financial goals with operational needs will be crucial for cost management and overall business efficiency. Your expertise in import/export financial operations will help manage global transactions and regulatory requirements smoothly.You will also represent the company before statutory bodies, respond to income tax inquiries, and maintain relationships with auditors and statutory departments. Your role will involve suggesting improvements in reporting quality, ensuring timely and accurate responses to senior management, and recommending process enhancements for better financial visibility.Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors, and implementing corrective actions will be part of your responsibilities. Proactively identifying and mitigating audit risks through continuous process improvement and enhanced internal controls will be critical for successful audit outcomes.To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with a professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning or a finance controller role is required. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, cash flow management, and reporting, as well as experience with debt/equity raising and banking relations, are essential for this position.Experience in import/export business operations would be considered a plus.
