The Finance Manager oversees the full spectrum of finance operations with a strong focus on monthly and year-end statutory reporting, financial controls, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Financial & Statutory Reporting
- Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and corporate reporting obligations
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of issues
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, manage, and develop a finance team with clear accountability and performance standards
- Review work outputs, provide coaching, and support team capability development
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance function
Business & Stakeholder Support
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and insights
- Support management reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant finance experience, including statutory reporting
- Proven experience managing a finance team
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge
- Good understanding of internal controls and governance
- Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills
- System-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Detail-oriented and able to meet monthly and year-end deadlines
