A facilities management company in Singapore seeks a Finance Officer to prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Town Council. Strong analytical and independent working skills are essential for success in this role.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your job responsibilities include but not limited to
Prepare financial statements, perform budgetary controls and manage arrears
Manage grants and assets management, inter-funds transfers, tax reporting
Monitor and comply with local regulations and Town Council financial reporting guidelines
Prepare and review annual budget
Ensure proper records of transactions and drive strong financial controls
Provide guidance to Finance Assistants and/or Officers and assist in AR, AP and GL where necessary
Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned by direct superior
Minimum Diploma in Accounting/ Finance/ LCCI with minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in a similar role, preferably in Town Council
Strong analytical thought process, able to handle tight timeline and stress
Meticulous and can work independently and as a team player
Prior experience in staff management and able to start within a short period will be advantageous
Employment Type: 2-years contract (renewable) with benefits
Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Mon-Fri), required to work half-day on the first Saturday of each month
