Job summary

A finance management firm located in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support day-to-day finance operations. The successful candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, oversee employee claims and reimbursements, perform KYC compliance checks, and assist in financial audits. Applicants should have at least a diploma in accountancy or equivalent and be knowledgeable about Singapore's FRS, with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to support our day-to-day finance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Account Payable (AP): Manage end-to-end AP processes, post and reconcile vendor invoices, prepare and execute payments, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Account Receivable (AR): Sales and AR checking, post sales invoices, monitor receivables and ensure timely record.
  • Employee Claims and Reimbursements: Review employee claims to ensure compliance with company policies and reconcile against supporting documents in a timely and accurate manner. Process approved claims for timely reimbursements.
  • KYC Compliance: Perform new customers/suppliers onboarding checks, including due diligences, as well as ongoing monitoring, ensure the compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities: Liaise and coordinate with external and internal parties on different accounting aspects when required, including follow up on outstanding AP, AR in coordination with internal teams. Assist in preparation of all supporting information for the annual audit and coordinate the annual financial audit process. Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned when necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in accountancy/ LCCI or equivalent/ Higher NITEC in accounts and financerelated studies.
  • Between 0 to 3 years of experience in audit or accounting.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s FRS.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team, and good communication skills and team player.
  • Able to work under stringent deadlines.
