Finance Business Partner (Shipping/Maritime)

Our client is an established player in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support financial oversight of operational and asset related costs across the business
  • Track and review expenditure to ensure accurate recording and alignment with internal policies
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and periodic cost reviews
  • Analyse variances and cost trends, flagging key movements to relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analysis for internal review
  • Work closely with operational, technical, and external partners to validate financial inputs
  • Support month end close activities including reconciliations and accruals
  • Contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation initiatives
  • Assist with audits, reviews, and ad hoc finance projects as needed
Key Requirements
  • Degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in a maritime industry
  • Exposure to cost management, budgeting, or operational finance activities
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel based analysis
  • Able to communicate clearly with both finance and non finance stakeholders
  • Organised, hands on, and able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently when required
  • Singapore citizen or PR only.
