Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and emotionally resilient.
• NSFs who have recently ORDed or existing EMTs are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Paramedic in emergency calls as part of a 3-person crew.
• Provide basic life support and first aid in pre-hospital settings.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions.
• Transport patients safely using proper medical techniques.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with hospitals and emergency agencies.
• Uphold professionalism in emergency situations.

Job description

Working days/hours:

• 5 or 6 days per week depending on roster (including weekends and public holidays)
• Shifts hours including morning, noon, and overnight shifts (rotating), 44hrs per week

Basic Range: From $1,700 + up to $1200 (allowances)

Sign on Bonus: $2,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Paramedic as part of a 3-person ambulance crew during emergency calls.
• Provide basic life support (BLS) and first aid to patients in pre-hospital settings.
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and treatments administered.
• Safely handle, lift, and transport patients using proper medical and safety techniques.
• Maintain ambulance equipment, medical supplies, and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Work closely with hospitals and other emergency agencies to ensure seamless care.
• Uphold professionalism, compassion, and composure in all emergency situations.
