Job summary

A leading wine training company in Singapore is seeking a friendly and organized individual to support its wine training department. In this role, you will manage administrative tasks, serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding training, and assist with the organization of wine tasting events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience in business administration, and will be highly organized. A genuine interest in wine is encouraged, and training will be provided for WSET Level 2.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in business administration is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
  • First class written and oral communication skills are necessary.

About The Role

We are looking for a friendly, highly organised individual to support our wine training department. This requires an individual who will act as an ambassador for training within the business, both by supporting the customer training team with daily admin requirements and being the main point of contact for our customers enquiring about training.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting the wine training department with all administrative needs
  • Managing the training inbox including responding to customer and account manager queries
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all WSET queries, ordering materials, exams and registering candidates
  • Managing registration lists, sending out invitations and co‐ordinating team diary management
  • Responsibility for processing training charges and invoices
  • Contribution to creation of e‐learning content, and supporting the day to day running of this system
  • General maintenance of training facilities within our head office, including room set up and liaising with the front of house teams
  • Responsibility for maintaining the Essential Wine Guide database and writing new Essential Wine Guide entries
  • Acting as WSET Exams officer
  • Involve in wine tasting events
About You

To be considered for the role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working within a business administration role
  • Proven working experience of diary management and data management
  • Customer liaison and query resolution
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are a must
  • First class written and oral communication skills
  • PC literate with in-depth knowledge of the full MS Office package
  • Knowledge and understanding of e‐learning management systems is highly advantageous
  • Whilst wine knowledge is not immediately necessary, an interest in wine, coupled with the desire to learn more about the subject is crucial.
  • WSET Level 2 is highly desirable (if not wine training will be sponsored by Fine Wines SG)
