Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Service Technician/Engineer to perform maintenance and support for AV and video conferencing systems. The ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification and 1-3 years of experience in AV operations. Duties include troubleshooting, preparing service reports, and working closely with users and vendors. An attractive salary package with allowances and bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in relevant fields is required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in AV operations, installation, or maintenance.
• Understanding of AV products and basic AV/IT technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, onsite/remote troubleshooting.
• Work with end users, suppliers, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Prepare service reports and update technical documentation.

Skills

AV product knowledge (Zoom, Teams, Crestron, etc.)

Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Dante)

Strong communication skills

Education

NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in AV, Electronics, IT, Electrical or related fields

Job description

• Service Technician/ Engineer (Audio Visual & UC)
• Location: Ubi, Island wide deployment
• Mon – Fri, 9:00am – 6:00pm (outside working hours & weekend standby may be needed)
• $3500 - $4500 + Allowances + Attractive Bonuses!!

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, onsite/remote troubleshooting, and post-installation support for AV and video conferencing systems.
• Work closely with end users, suppliers, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prepare accurate service reports and assist in updating schematics, BOM, and other technical documentation.
• Conduct diagnostics, firmware updates, configuration changes, and provide post-commissioning/end-user support.
• Support training sessions, system handover activities, and other tasks assigned by the Service Lead.

Requirements

• NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in AV, Electronics, IT, Electrical, or related disciplines.
• OR 1 – 3 years’ experience in AV operations, installation, engineering, or maintenance.
• Good understanding of AV products (Zoom, Teams, Crestron, Extron, Polycom, etc.) and basic AV/IT technologies (TCP/IP, Dante, Networking) is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills; ability to speak additional languages is a plus.
