#Salary: Up to basic S$5500/month

The organization is a leading geotechnical and foundation engineering specialist which specialize in deep foundations, tunneling, and provides advanced engineering solutions for complex underground structures for major infrastructure and iconic buildings.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities related to Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) works
• Coordinate with System-Wide Contractors (SWC) for cast-in items such as pipe sleeves, lifting hooks, lifting beams, ABS cable pipe installations with cable pit works, and installation of light and camera poles
• Manage E&M site coordination at underground stations and tunnels, including earth mat systems, plumbing and sanitary installations, and testing
• Manage excavation works for underground incoming water pipes and hydrant pipes, ensuring proper coordination with SWC and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) teams for plumbing and sanitary precast installations, arranging inspections with Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) alongside subcontractors
• Ensure subcontractor installation of lifting hooks and lifting beams is carried out in accordance with approved drawings
• Review CCSM/SEM construction drawings for accuracy and completeness prior to execution.
• Conduct inspections with SWC and RTO before casting operations
• Coordinate all E&M-related works with civil site engineers to maintain seamless integration
• Procure necessary materials, utilize existing stock, and ensure materials are properly stored for future use
• Liaise with site engineer to prepare for the upcoming cast-in materials
• Oversee SWC’s first-stage concrete embed pipe coordination in tunnels and cross passages
• Monitor SWC’s service bracket installations inside tunnels and station trackside areas
• Assist the Construction Manager for civil works to ensure SWC interface requirements are met and implemented on construction stage and ensure SWC attendance during site inspections

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction industry, specializing in foundations projects
• Experienced in tunnelling projects
• Strong ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
