ECO (tunnels construction)
Duties and Responsibilities of ECO cum ECMO (LTA Tunnel project)
  • Conduct regular inspections at site, machineries, vehicles, equipments and other potential areas to identify environmental hazards that can cause harm to public health
  • Lookout for signs of pollution and identify cases of environmental damage and contamination
  • Develop and implement plans to control or eradicate environmental hazards
  • Execute plans to reduce noise, pests control and disease vectors.
  • Lookout for compliance with environmental regulations and make recommendations to improve adherence to the guidelines and regulations
  • Work with other project team members for efficient management of environmental risks in the worksite
  • Strong understanding of local environmental laws and regulations in order to develop and implement environmental control measures
Requirements:
  1. Possess the necessary certified environmental certificates
  2. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering or other relevant fields. Minimum qualification must be a diploma
  3. Able to speak and write in English for periodic reporting and communicating with various stakeholders
  4. BizSafe Level 2
  5. Able to start work within 2 weeks after job offer will have an added advantage
