Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support Lounge Manager with operational tasks.
  • Manage front of house operations for quality service.
  • Supervise all lounge areas as needed.
  • Provide professional food and beverage service.

  • Resolve lounge issues with empowerment.
  • Complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Handle guest challenges and situations.

Job description
Job Description:
  • Provide support to the Lounge Manager with operational tasks and responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the front of house operations to ensure we are providing the high-quality service to our customers.
  • Supervision and support of all lounge areas as required
  • Lead by example to provide efficient, friendly & professional food & beverage service to all guests by ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Assist in assigning duties and ensure that suitable staff levels are maintained. Assist in daily team briefings when needed.
  • Apply knowledge and empowerment to resolve all lounge issues.
  • Complete incident and injury reports on site.
  • Assist in handling different guest challenges and situations and be part of the first response emergency team.
  • Assisting with training/onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation as prescribed by council / legislative regulations, in accordance with the Lounges and Qantas Food Safety Plan.
  • Show efficiency in constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience as Senior Lounge Host and (or) Assistant Duty Manager; or Restaurant / Outlet Manager in a similar set-up and capacity
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage team members in a calm and respectful manner
  • Strong interpersonal skill especially in handling customer feedback
