A construction services company based in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional for architectural drafting and design. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related fields and be proficient in CAD software such as BIM and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include liaising with contractors, creating detailed drawings, and ensuring construction aligns with plans. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the building trade is preferred, making this role a great opportunity for growth in the construction industry.
Liaise with builders and contractors to create and update plans, drawings for building projects.
Work closely with architects, engineers and construction teams to integrate design elements and ensure coordination across disciplines.
Responsible for creating detailed and technical drawings based on sketches and instructions provided by the site/design team
Develop comprehensive construction drawings, adhering to local building codes and regulations.
Gather product and structural requirements, calculating dimensions and material specifications, and creating detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings and detailed specifications.
Monitor the construction process to ensure works align with the approved drawings and specifications.
Any other works as assigned by the Management or your Superior.
Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture/Drafting/Engineering Design or other related disciplines
A firm foundation in drawing creation – BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Sketch-up, AutoCad software / computer-aided design (CAD) and general computer skills.
Previous work experiences in a specific industry, such as architectural, mechanical, or structural design, will require to be considered for the position.
Minimum 2 years of experience in building/construction trade in Singapore will be added advantage.
