About the role

GOLDEN PHOENIX SOLAR ENERGY PTE.LTD. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our sales and growth strategies across the East Region, with a focus on the Paya Lebar East area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the continued success and expansion of our solar energy business.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective sales and business development plans to achieve ambitious growth targets
• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in the solar energy market
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders
• Overseeing the sales team and providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure optimal performance
• Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform our business development strategy
• Collaborating cross-functionally to support the delivery of complex solar energy projects
• Reporting on business performance and making data-driven recommendations to senior management

What we’re looking for

• Proven track record of success in a senior business development or sales leadership role, preferably within the solar energy or renewable energy industryExcellent understanding of the solar energy market, including industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
