Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage end-to-end crew change arrangements and maintain up-to-date crew rotation plans and ensure adequate manning across all vessels.
  • Manage crew documentation (certificates, medicals, seaman books) and ensure compliance with statutory, flag state, and client requirements.
  • Liaise with vessel masters, manning agents, and regulatory authorities on all crew-related matters and track crew performance, incident reports, and disciplinary cases.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist qualified crew candidates and coordinate selection and interview arrangements with hiring managers; manage onboarding processes, including SEA preparation, orientation, and induction; maintain accurate crew personnel files.
  • Support HR reporting (manpower data, attrition, HR metrics) and assist in crew payroll matters by verifying attendance, leave, and allowance updates.
  • Coordinate mandatory training, revalidation courses, cross-training, and succession planning for crew and track training validity and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Ensure crewing operations comply with MPA, MOM, STCW, flag state, and company policies and support internal and external audits for crewing.
  • Administer crew insurance matters, including processing claims and communicating with insurers and P&I clubs and uphold confidentiality and data protection standards.
Requirements
