Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Coverage of Big MNC conglomerates as well as local and Chinese-based large conglomerates.
  • Perform independent credit analysis and evaluation, including financial analysis and projections on new and existing banking facilities/ loans to make recommendations for approval.
  • Identify key risks and mitigating factors in the credit evaluation and present cases to the Credit Committee for deliberation and approval.
  • Conduct customer visits together with Front office to understand the business operations.
  • Plan and organize to ensure credit reviews are completed in timely manner.
  • Recommending ad-hoc trade requests based on approving authority.
  • Review credit documentation to ensure adherence to approved Terms and Conditions.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Bachelor Degree and above, preferably in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar capacity. Prior experience in banking sector is highly advantageous
  • Liaise with Chinese speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal communication and good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Proactive, energetic, result oriented and possess good business acumen
