Junior Contract & Claims Management Professional

Role Overview

NES Fircroft is supporting a leading global energy and engineering organisation on the appointment of a Junior Contract & Claims Management Professional to be based in Singapore.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 2–3 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims-related activities, looking to build long-term expertise in contracts and commercial management within large-scale energy projects.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, supporting contract administration, commercial tracking, and claims preparation across complex EPC/EPCM project environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in the administration of contracts, including maintaining contract registers, obligations, deliverables, milestones, and notifications.
  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of contractual correspondence in clear and professional English.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, and Site teams to gather inputs and documentation.
  • Support the analysis of contractual and commercial claims, including fact-finding and document collation.
  • Assist in preparing claims narratives, quantification, and supporting evidence under guidance from senior commercial staff.
  • Maintain commercial trackers covering costs, risks, opportunities, and contractual positions.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, follow-up actions, and ensure documentation accuracy and consistency.
  • Apply internal contract management standards, templates, and governance controls.
  • Support continuous improvement of contract administration and documentation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims-related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Exposure to the energy sector (e.g. power generation, oil & gas, EPC/EPCM projects) is highly preferred.
