A foreman is responsible for ensuring that work runs smoothly at a construction site. They are responsible for being the point of contact between the construction workers and supervisors. A few of the main duties of a foreman are coordinating tasks for the day, creating schedules for workers, oversee quality of the site, and managing the budget. A foreman have to report the progress of the project to superiors.
Required 10 years experience in diaphragm wall, deep soil mixing, cement bentonite wall.
- Assist Planning Manager on-site planning, manpower, and equipment management.
- To liaise with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- To design and draw conceptual drawings.
- Prepare correspondence, method statements, risk assessment, safe work procedure, presentations, and relevant project reports.
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
- Monitor and submit weekly/ monthly progress report.
- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Attend project meetings.
- Proficient in MS Project and AutoCad.
- Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Must be well-versed in Singapore Safety Standards and Code of Practice.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
- Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design do cumentssupplied by the client or architect.
- Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project)to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
- Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects,engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep the minformed of progress.
- Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects.

- Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
