Job summary

A leading restaurant group in Singapore is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Chef de Partie or Commis Cook. You'll be part of a kitchen that values quality food preparation, teamwork, and discipline. Ideal candidates should have kitchen experience or a willingness to learn. The position offers a salary range of SGD 1,200 – 2,400/month, depending on experience, with rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred for Chef de Partie roles.
  • Training provided for Commis-level candidates with the right attitude.
  • Able to handle kitchen pressure and follow instructions precisely.
  • Familiarity with hygiene protocols, ingredient storage, and prep standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute or assist in food preparation at designated stations.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of your workstation at all times.
  • Ensure food is prepared with consistency, quality, and speed.
  • Assist with ingredient prep, restocking, and mise en place.
  • Follow recipes, marination standards, plating guides, and portion controls.
  • Support the Head Chef and team during service and training.
  • Contribute to smoking, grilling, or finishing of meat cuts if experienced.
