Building on more than four decades of experience and expertise, NTUC Health is among the largest senior day care, nursing home and home personal care providers in Singapore. It also offers other services for seniors such as an active ageing hub, senior activity centres, community support for vulnerable seniors, and a sheltered / senior group home. In addition, it runs a chain of dental clinics, and a family medicine clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will need to:
Operations Support
- Coordinate weekend operations across all centres, including logistics, setup, meal flow, and centre readiness.
- Ensure that each centre follows COS standard practices and guidelines.
- Supervise basic clinical compliance and assist in liaising with Community Nurses on client care matters.
- Serve as first point of escalation for on-the-ground issues during weekend services.
Manpower & Staff Liaison
- Prepare and manage weekend staff rosters.
- Track attendance, replacements, and off-in-lieu planning.
- Liaise with weekday Centre Managers and support staff onboarding and training for weekend operations.
Client Coordination
- Assist in weekly client attendance monitoring, transport arrangements, and follow-up on absentees or incidents.
- Support new client onboarding and assist in conducting initial assessments with Community Nurses.
- Communicate with caregivers and support updates on medication, appointments, and care needs.
Program & Activity Support
- Support the planning, preparation, and on-site execution of weekend programs and activities.
- Coordinate with volunteers and activity facilitators to ensure smooth sessions.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain weekend operations records, incident logs, and feedback summaries. ● Contribute to the documentation of the weekend's operation and support improvements in service delivery.
Business Development
- Support business expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate awareness campaigns and client recruitment strategies.
- Lead tracking, follow-ups, and conversion.
- Support client onboarding and admission processes.
- Prepare simple performance reports and track metrics such as new referrals, attendance, and feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should:
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in senior daycare operations, social service, or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple locations.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple ongoing tasks.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for tracking, reporting, and communication.
It would be great if you:
- Experience in eldercare, daycare centres, or volunteer coordination.
- Good command of English and other local language/dialect to liaise with seniors.
- Familiarity with community-based programs and basic client care considerations.
OTHER INFORMATION
- 5-day work week including weekends.
- Weekday duties include planning, client/staff/centre/vendor/volunteer coordination, and reporting.
- Weekends duty includes ground supervision at centres on a rotating basis.
