Job description
1. Driving and Navigation
  • Operate the Bus Safely: Drive the bus in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Route Adherence: Follow prescribed routes and schedules, making adjustments for road conditions and traffic.
  • Navigation: Utilize maps, GPS, or other tools to navigate routes effectively and handle unexpected detours.
2. Passenger Safety and Assistance
  • Passenger Safety: Ensure that all passengers are seated and secure before moving the bus. Enforce safety rules and regulations.
  • Assisting Passengers: Help passengers with disabilities, the elderly, and those with special needs to board and disembark safely.
  • Emergency Procedures: Be prepared to handle emergencies, including medical emergencies, accidents, and evacuations.
3. Bus Maintenance and Inspections
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct routine checks of the bus before starting the route, including brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Report Issues: Report any maintenance or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities for prompt repair.
