Job description:
  • Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare audit reports and present findings to audit managers and partners for review
  • Plan, organize, manage audit fieldwork, including allocating tasks to junior staff and providing on-the-job training and supervision
  • Review working papers, financial statements, and audit findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS), IFRS, US GAAP or other relevant reporting frameworks
  • Identify key audit issues and propose practical solutions or recommendations to address client concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary audit information, clarify accounting issues, and resolve audit-related queries. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients
  • Assist in supervising and coaching junior team members, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold the firm’s standards of service and integrity
  • Stay up to date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, regulations and best practices as well as regulatory developments relevant to the profession
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or relevant professional qualification
  • At least 2 - 3 years and above post qualification experience in external audit, possesses current technical knowledge aligned with professional audit standards and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements is essential
  • Leadership skills, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Program
  • Hardworking individual with a strong commitment to delivering high quality work and able to work independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and clients
