Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced data analytics professional to lead our clinical data analytics team. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation in healthcare data management and analytics, while overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven solutions for clinical operations.


The Challenges:

  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of data analytics strategies, including program evaluation and performance monitoring of clinical algorithms and systems
  • Direct the development and refinement of the Patient Identification Criteria (PIC) algorithm, managing its deployment across TTSH while ensuring optimal functionality and effectiveness
  • Manage a team of data analysts in conducting complex data analysis, developing machine learning models, and implementing natural language processing solutions for clinical applications
  • Establish and oversee data quality frameworks, including the development of monitoring systems and performance metrics
  • Drive strategic initiatives in applying advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI, to unstructured clinical data
  • Provide technical leadership in developing and implementing data-driven decision-making tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical teams and external partners
  • Lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior team members in data analytics methodologies
  • Oversee database operations, security protocols, and data governance frameworks
  • Direct the development of comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD a plus preferred) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing complex data analytics projects, preferably in healthcare settings
  • Expert knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and statistical analysis tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems and healthcare data structures
  • Experience with natural language processing and unstructured data analysis
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights
