Assistant Operations Manager
5 days (Monday - Friday)
Location: Tuas
Basic Salary: $4300 - $4800

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Operations Manager in overseeing daily production processes, including thermal treatment, chemical leaching, milling, and blending.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (production, engineering, logistics, and leaching) to ensure smooth and timely operations.

  • Monitor production output, recovery yields, and process efficiency to meet operational and quality targets.

  • Enforce SHE compliance, ensuring safe handling of hazardous chemicals and high-value materials while promoting a strong safety culture.

  • Ensure quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance through accurate documentation, inspections, sampling, testing, and audit support.

  • Lead and supervise production teams, supporting manpower planning, shift scheduling, training, and performance management.

  • Manage inventory and asset control, ensuring secure handling, storage, and movement of materials and work-in-progress.

  • Prepare operational and safety reports and drive continuous improvement to enhance recovery rates, reduce losses, and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.

  • Prior supervisory, assistant management, or team leadership experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
