Job description

We are on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to join our legal and compliance team. You will be working in our award-winning team on various legal and compliance matters in the South East Asia region.

You will report directly to our EVP who has a strong track record in mentorship and building high-performance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and interact with internal clients and external parties, such as clients, regulators, vendors and other third parties.
  • Assist with the development of process to identify and manage legal risks and handling compliance issues
  • Be a key part of our dispute-avoidance process
  • General corporate, commercial and regulatory legal work, focusing on issues associated with the property services industry

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a law degree from a recognised law school – we are fully prepared to consider fresh graduates who are the right fit for us
  • Be a people person as the role requires you to be highly visible and to build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Be comfortable with handling and resolving disputes/claims fairly & professionally
  • Be highly responsive, proactive and willing to learn.
