Our client, a global specialty chemicals company providing solutions to the construction and automotive industries, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support finance operations in Singapore. This position will play a key role in financial reporting, controls, and continuous process improvement, working closely with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.

About the Role
  • Manager day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, controls).
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SFRS.
  • Oversee group consolidation, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
  • Enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and process efficiency.
  • Leverage ERP and financial systems to improve reporting and workflows.
  • Partner with stakeholders on business initiatives and financial planning.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members.
About You
  • ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong exposure to corporate reporting, consolidation and tax with in depth knowledge of IFRS/SFRS.
  • Proficient in ERP and financial systems, with a track record of improving reporting and processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop junior finance staff.
