Job summary

A leading human resource services firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Executive to manage NS registration processes and public queries. Responsibilities include processing applications, conducting verification checks, and providing administrative support. Ideal candidates should hold a Polytechnic Diploma and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is a contract role with an expected monthly salary of up to $2,300.

Assistant Executive (NS Registration and Enlistment Centre)

Employment Type: Contract

Monthly Salary: 2300

Location: Depot Road

Responsibilities:

  • Process applications for NS registration, enlistment (including processing of SAF identity document), deferment on local and overseas studies, and other special/compassionate grounds; and exit permit (including bonding for overseas studies), made by NS-liable males in accordance with NS policies.
  • Conduct verification checks on records of NS-liable population and administer online exercises for registration/pre-enlistment/deferment
  • Examine details of case on requests/appeals for deferment, enlistment and exit permit, made through Members of Parliament, prepare submission and make recommendation to the relevant authorities for approval
  • Manage public queries received via letters, emails, escalated calls or service counter. Perform counter duties on Saturdays.
  • Manage requests for statistical data and set criteria for data generation
  • Provide administrative support on updating and liaison with external vendors on NS-related publications.
  • Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time. Including support projects for external agencies.

  • 1 –2 Years Contract

Working Hours:

  • Office Hours, Mon –Fri
  • Up to $2,300

Requirements:

  • Preferably Polytechnic Diploma
  • Entry level applicants can be considered
  • Good IT, interpersonal and communication skills with passion for customer service.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) is preferred
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office and Open Office application software
