Assistant Engineer | Power Maint (City Hall) | Shift Work required
Responsible to manage a team in the testing, maintenance, and recovery of SCS/PSCADA equipment such as OCC servers, Overview display, Workstations, Network equipment, RTU, Power RTU, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), Station PSC (Passenger Service Centre) HMI, and Emergency door release (electrical controls) and related peripherals to meet System maintenance KPI.
Main Duties
- Admin Matter
- Plan and consolidate Monthly Works schedule and man-hour.
- Update members on Circular, Dept notice, safety topics and any related matter.
- Assist EMM in coordination for Corrective Maintenance (CM), safety, inspection, and project support.
- SCS Maintenance (applicable only for OCC & Field AE)

- Perform system backup, preventive and corrective maintenance timely.
- Attend to all calls and SAP work notifications for PM and CM.
- Compose and submit work reports for all related to first line maintenance.
- Ensure all reported CM and PM work orders are closed accurately and promptly.
- Perform periodic review of Work specs, instruction or project procedure, risk assessment and etc.
- Perform QA check on repaired item at site.
- Assist EMM in the generation of fault analysis report and case study.
Other Roles and Responsibilities
- Person-in-Charge (PIC) Duties:
- Responsible for System A&A and contractor work.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and follow safety instructions from manuals and circulars.
- Provide support in fault-finding and investigation to all parties.
- Safety Inspection and Audit:
- Attend safety inspections/audits of SCS system/equipment and processes.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols.
- External Parties and Technical Data:
- Coordinate works by external parties, including LTA and contractors.
- Consolidate and organize technical data related to equipment as required by the supervisor.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond to emergency recalls as required by the supervisor.
