About the role

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Baker & Pastry Chef to join our team at Tin Box. The role is based in our restaurant located at Keppel Bay Marina.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods
  • Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing products
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all baked goods are presented to the highest standard
What we're looking for
  • At least 6 months of experience as a baker or pastry chef, preferably in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Baking skills and knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely
  • Good time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
