Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturing firm is seeking an Assistant to handle various administrative duties including data entry, front desk management, and maintaining documentation. This role requires at least an ITE qualification and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply as training will be provided. This position is a part-time, 1-year renewable contract based in Tuas, Singapore, with an attractive salary package that includes benefits.

  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Position Title: Assistant

Working Location: Tuas (Walk distance from MRT)

Working Hours: 4 Days per week (between Mon - Fri), 8.30am – 5.30pm

Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + Medical & Dental Benefits + Completion Bonus

Duration: 1-year Renewable Part-Time Contract

Responsibilities
  • Handle data entry, including Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR), into the system.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices against approved purchase orders or contractual agreements.
  • Oversee external service providers during scheduled preventive maintenance and building or office equipment servicing.
  • Handle front desk duties such as receiving visitors and service providers, managing incoming calls, directing enquiries, distributing mail, and providing refreshments when required.
  • Organise, record, and maintain administrative and HR documentation and filing systems.
  • Carry out additional administrative tasks as assigned by management or supervisors.
