Job Title: APAC Legal and Contracts Manager

Location: Singapore – Hybrid working

Contract: Permanent

About the role: We’re hiring an APAC Legal and Contracts Manager to join our APAC Legal Department in Singapore. This role is pivotal in supporting the APAC Legal department and partnering with key business stakeholders across the region. You will manage a variety of legal and compliance matters, ensuring efficient contract management, risk mitigation and legal operations optimisation.

You will have strong contract negotiation, legal research and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, organization and communication abilities. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and adaptable individual to develop within a global leader in standards and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contracts & Legal Support: Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, procurement agreements and other operational legal documents.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Act as the APAC Legal Departments gatekeeper, triaging matters and ensuring adherence to compliance frameworks and managing local implementation of global policies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, IT, regulatory and business development teams to align legal processes with business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement legal tools and streamline processes, manage document repositories and track key legal and compliance metrics for informed decision‑making.
  • Training & Advisory: Deliver legal training sessions and develop toolkits to enhance awareness of legal and compliance requirements across the business.
  • Litigation & Dispute Management: Support intellectual property disputes, compliance investigations and litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
  • Administrative & Budget Support: Oversee contract filing, case tracking and legal department budgeting to ensure efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in law, business or other relevant legal qualification.
  • Proven experience in corporate, commercial and administrative legal functions, preferably across APAC.
  • Strong contract negotiation and management skills with the ability to balance business needs and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail and a focus on process improvement and legal operations.
  • Effective communication and problem‑solving skills, able to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity and openness to continuous self‑improvement and professional development.
