Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Accountant with experience in managing full sets of accounts , financial reporting, budgeting and tax compliance with local regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.The ideal candidate will support monthly closing, liaise with auditors and tax agents and ensure accurate financial records, preferably with experience in the construction/engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations) for Singapore and Malaysia entities.
• Handle construction project costing, WIP reporting, and job costing.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore FRS and assist with Malaysian FRS for cross-border projects.
• Support Malaysian tax compliance (Corporate Tax, SST, withholding tax) if the company bids for projects in Malaysia.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and subcontractor payments, staff claims and apply bank payment.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and Banks
• Annual Filing
• Use accounting & payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or Malaysia’s AutoCount).

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of accounting/Audit experience in construction/engineering, industry in Singapore and Malaysia
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting/tax systems (a strong plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Ability to handle multi-currency transactions (SGD, MYR).
• Fluent in commonly used Language in Singapore and Malaysia is an advantage.
• Work on Jurong Island
