Job summary

A contracting firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for performing First Article Inspections and preparing related reports. The role includes submitting reports for customer approval and liaising with suppliers regarding inspection issues. Candidates must hold a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a preference for previous FAIR preparation experience. Fresh graduates and interns are welcome to apply. The position offers a 3-month contract with potential extensions, working five days a week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspection and prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Submit FAIR at customer portal for approval.
• Review internal inspection reports.
• Review supplier FAIR and communicate with supplier for first article issues.
• Perform administrative tasks such as document preparation and collection.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and product certifications.
• Good working knowledge of inspection technique.
• Hands-on knowledge on basic measuring tools such as caliper.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Previous experience in FAIR preparation is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Fresh grads or interns with no experience are welcome.
