Job Description

• Lead the civil design team in developing innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet project specifications and budget constraints.
• Oversee the preparation and review of detailed engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication to align project goals and timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, integrating findings into design proposals to minimize environmental impact.
• Manage project schedules and resources efficiently, ensuring timely completion of design phases while adhering to quality standards.
• Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the design process to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members and promoting professional development opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced knowledge.
• At least 8 years of progressive civil design experience, including 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, showcasing the ability to deliver on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS applications for efficient project execution.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in design calculations and documentation.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, particularly in multicultural project environments.
• Ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and obtain necessary permits, ensuring compliance with local and national standards.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards common objectives.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
