Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Octopus by RTG is on a mission to connect top organizations around the globe with exceptional talents. We are currently seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for generative AI applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), voice assistants, and agents.
2. Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., GPT, BERT) for specific use cases and integrate them into scalable applications.
3. Collaborate with data engineers to design efficient data pipelines and preprocessing workflows.
4. Research and implement innovative techniques to enhance model performance, interpretability, and scalability.
5. Analyze model outputs to identify and resolve biases or performance issues.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
2. Solid background in NLP and conversational AI.
3. Deep knowledge of deep learning and large language models.
4. Experience with speech processing tools (e.g., Whisper, Google Speech-to-Text).
5. Knowledge of conversational AI frameworks (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow).
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
