Job summary

PipeCare Group

PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced TM Representative who will be responsible to manage all aspects of the territory tool fleet and arrange additional tools from Corporate TM, as required.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Arrange for tools, spares and accessories to be delivered to site timely, properly configured and assembled. These activities require intensive integration of information exchange with the Project Manager. Any shortage of complete information in the PQ shall be assessed together with Corporate TM and the Territory Director/PM so that consensus is reached on how to progress. These activities also include agreeing with the PM tool return date and arranging tool return shipment.
  • Manage all aspects of the territory workshop including proper housekeeping and accurate records keeping.
  • Manage and report the territory tools, spares and accessories inventory:
    • Avoid shortages.
    • Arrange for proper storage and labelling.
    • Arrange for cleaning after project use.
    • Report planned usage monthly.
    • Report success rate of inspection tool runs monthly.
    • Aim at 100% run success rate, assess tool performance and suggest tool design improvements. Charge the project for tool damage caused by poor handling.
    • Arrange proper shipping of all tool, spares and accessories (to and from commercial project sites, between Territory and Corporate TM as well as from suppliers).
    • Forecast, budget and purchase (or return tools to Corporate TM) for the tool fleet (including spares and accessories) from the market for the coming year. This forecast shall also reflect the manpower requirements and the size of the workshop facilities.
    • Assess and record un-used spares and update inventory.
  • Encourage the PM’s to increase/optimize tools and equipment utilization at region/territory.
Skills / Experience
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, OR related degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tool and production related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Advance GMP training and implementation skills
  • Strong command of English, knowledge of other languages is plus
  • Must be flexible with work hours & timings
  • Very good in Technical write up.
  • Preferably with electronics or mechanical Engineering background.
  • ERP, Microsoft office, is a basic requirement for software, having experience in Sledworks, AutoCAD software is an advantage
Physical And Mental Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
