About the role:

To ensure the safe, reliable, and effective operation of all automated and non-automated warehousing materials handling equipment and systems to meet Almarai business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is properly maintained and repaired according to OEM standards.
• Perform all tasks in compliance with Almarai’s safety policies and procedures.
• Provide operational support to keep systems and equipment running efficiently.
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance on mechanical handling equipment as per Swiss log-approved schedules.
• Execute maintenance tasks for building and fixtures in line with Almarai’s approved schedules.
• Accurately update SAP with detailed records of maintenance activities and breakdown repairs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 0–1 year experience or exposure to highly automated warehousing and FMCG operations.
• Basic understanding or interest in warehouse management systems.
• 0–1 year exposure to building services.
• Familiarity with SAP or any ERP system is a plus.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Awareness of HVACR systems and automated material handling equipment (e.g., stacker cranes).
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in engineering and automation environments.
